The Swiss river cruise ship Thurgau Prestige has been anchored in Vienna since September 14. 102 passengers and 40 crew members are unable to disembark due to flooding of the Danube caused by heavy downpours. The pier is flooded. This is reported by Der Standard .

The responsible organizer of the trip, Thurgau Travel, announced on the morning of September 16 that "everyone on board is fully and completely provided with food."

Local authorities will decide when the ship can continue sailing or when passengers can be disembarked.
