Fico: Zelensky's "blackmail and begging" must stop

by .The Slovak prime minister said he was “fed up” with the Ukrainian leader, and the country's president refused to go to Kyiv.
"He (Zelensky – ed.) walks around Europe, just begging and blackmailing others, asking for money. This just has to stop," Fico said.
He called the Ukrainian president unreliable and said that sometimes he is “fed up with them.”
Russia, he said, has always been a reliable partner when it comes to energy supplies.
The parliamentary committee meeting was called by the opposition, which demanded explanations from Fico regarding his meeting with Russian leader Vladimir Putin in Moscow, as well as information about Slovakia's further steps in connection with the suspension of Russian gas transit through Ukraine.
Pellegrini said that under these circumstances, his trip to Ukraine was out of the question.
“If I have to go there just to take a picture and they tell me that not a single drop of oil and gas will go to Slovakia, then I really shouldn’t go there. No offense to me,” he said.
